Thailand as a whole has 114 different people groups and 80 of the 114 are unreached. Buddhism is the main religion of Thailand and only 1.3% of the population are professing Christians. Many of the people have never heard of Jesus or His message. God has given us an amazing opportunity to reach these people in the heart of the 10/40 window.

The three largest UPGs in Thailand are the Central Thai, Northern Thai, and the Esan people. Chiang Rai is in Northern Thailand which makes it easier to reach the Northern Thai UPG. He has given us many natural avenues to reach the UPGs such as teaching English and providing humanitarian aid.
